A little defense in the rain on Monday in Boys Training on Monday.
Before the pitching machine could rust up, Curt Darling snagged a line drive at third base for CrimeStoppers, and teammate Zane Alexander had a catch in left field, robbing a double or triple. Still, there were eight extra-base hits in all - four by KCS Energy and four by CrimeStoppers.
Andrea Sveda blasted a double and Sadie Hoffman earned her first pitching win of the season in a Girls Minors win for EmergyCare. Jordan Sitler and Sadie Hoffman threw scoreless innings to start the game for EmergyCare, and Alexis Nyquist and Faith Johnson played well in the infield. Taylor Childress threw two strong innings for Means.

Mary Fiscus wanted to end the season with a home run, and did that and more. She added two triples in a Girls Juniors win for Jock Shop.
Carter Borland hit two long home runs for Peterson-Blick Funeral Home as it outslugged The Bucket in Boys Minors play recently. Ryan Arnold took the victory on the mound working three innings and recording all nine outs by strikeout.
Adam Pascuzzi blasted two home runs in the first inning, and Braidy Blair added a homer in the 12-run inning, in a Boys Majors win for TruckLite.
