Wanted. Warren-based state police said Debbie Sue Brewer, 49, last known address 14 Homestead Dr., Pleasant Valley Mobile Home Park, is being sought by law enforcement as a result of a warrant issued for her arrest. Police said Brewer has been charged with criminal contempt for failing to obey a court subpoena to testify at a preliminary hearing. She is described as a white female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 104 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information on Brewer's whereabouts is asked to call the state police or Crime Stoppers, which is offering a reward for information leading to her arrest.
Hit and run. Warren-based state police reported a vehicle was traveling east on Rt. 6, near the intersection with Abraham Hollow Road at 7:30 a.m. June 11. According to police, a large rock fell out of the dump bed of the vehicle, subsequently striking the passenger side windshield of a 2011 Nissan Cube driven by Emily J. Taydus, 19, Youngsville, with passengers Jeremy Mack, 18, Tidioute, and Brandon Wybiral, 19, Russell. Police said the first vehicle continued east, leaving the scene on Rt. 6. Police said the Cube received functional damage to the windshield and was driven from the scene.
Conewango Twp.
Harassment. Conewango Township police were dispatched at 5:10 p.m., June 10 to 2645 Yankee Bush Rd. for a domestic disturbance between Courtney and Scott Shirlaw. Police said both Shirlaws subjected each other to physical contact. Summary non-traffic citations were filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.
Aggravated assault. Conewango Township police were dispatched at 10:04 p.m., June 10 to 33 Mason Rd. for a domestic disturbance. Police said Michele Covell, 43, had subjected a known man to unwanted physical contact, using a knife to inflict minor injuries on him. Police said Covell was taken into custody and transported by Pennsylvania Constables to appear before District Justice Laura Bauer. She was committed to the Warren County Jail on $5,000 bail.
Aggravated assault. Warren-based state police reported Darian Lee Johnson, Hermitage, struck both Darren Jackson, Sugar Grove, and Michelle Eng, Jamestown, N.Y., in the head with a heavy wooden object causing swelling and busing at 12:50 a.m. June 11 at Warren State Hospital. According to police, Johnson was arraigned before District Justice Laura Bauer on two counts of aggravated assault, four counts of simple assault and two count of recklessly endangering another person. Police said Johnson was remanded to the Warren County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
Mead Twp.
Harassment. Warren-based state police reported Katherine M. Banks, 49, Warren, struck Doug Flinspach, 57, Clarendon, in the mouth and back following a brief verbal altercation at 55 Rezelle Ln. at 9:15 p.m. June 10. According to police, charges were filed with District Justice Laura Bauer's office.
Clarendon
Burglary. Warren-based state police reported someone forcibly entered the residence of Kimmy Gathwright, 36, 204 N. Main St., through the front door between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. June 10. According to police, the intruder stole approximately $310 in assorted personal items and misplaced numerous other items while inside prior to fleeing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crimestoppers.
