Theft. Warren-based State Police reported that someone approached a camp on Crippen Hill Road belonging to David L. Close, Erie, between May 28 and June 8 and proceeded to gain entry by prying open a rear unlocked window with an unknown object. Police reported that no visible damage was done to the window or frame. Once inside the suspects didn't do anything. They left the camp through the rear door, leaving it open. Close reported nothing stolen and no observable damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Conewango Twp.
Megan's Law Violation. Warren-based State police said James Allen Lindsey, 54, 136 Scott Run Rd., Warren, was charged with two Felony 3 counts of failure to comply with registration of sexual offenders requirements after it was learned that Lindsey had been maintaining residence and a job in Youngsville from January to June, 2012 without reporting it to the Pennsylvania State police as required. Lindsey was arraigned before District Justice Laura Bauer on June 10. Bail was set at $10,000 unsecured.

Warren-based State police said Russell Gene Rounds, 62, 162 Scott Run Rd., Warren, was charged with one Felony 3 count of failure to comply with registration of sexual offenders requirements after it was learned that Rounds had been employed in Youngsville from January to June 2012 without reporting it to the Pennsylvania State Police as required. Rounds was arraigned before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth on June 8. Bail was set at $10,000 unsecured.

Rounds was arraigned before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth on June 8. Bail was set at $10,000 unsecured.
Farmington Twp.
Crash. Warren-based State police said Daniel J. Shelley, 20, Russell, Pa was driving a 1994 Ford Explorer XLT east on SR 957 at 12:40 p.m., June 7 and attempted to negotiate a right curve. Shelley observed a large Penndot truck on the south side of the berm and swerved slightly to the left on the freshly chipped and tarred roadway and lost control, crossed the center lane into the westbound lane, left the north edge of the roadway and struck an embankment with the driver's side which caused the vehicle to roll. The Explorer rolled onto its roof facing northeast in the westbound berm. Lander VFD and Russell VFD/EMS assisted. Shelley was cited with driving vehicle at an unsafe speed and and not driving on the right side of roadway with District Justice Laura Bauer. Shelley was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured.
Pittsfield Twp.
Crash. Warren-based State police said that at 10:10 p.m., June 8 Vicky M. Halle, 50, Warren was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer and was making a right hand turn onto Extension Rd. from SR 27 in Pittsfield Twp. Halle failed to straighten the steering wheel and traveled over an embankment hitting a ditch. The vehicle came to rest facing north in a residential yard. Garland VFD assisted. Halle was charged with careless driving and was not injured.
Youngsville
Thefts. Youngsville police are investigating a few thefts from mailboxes. Police were contacted by borough residents on E. Main St. and W. Main St. that unknown person/s opened their mail and took out unemployment cards and debit cards sometime between May 27 and June 2, 2012. Anyone with information is asked to call Youngsville police at 563-7555 or Crimestoppers.
Theft. Youngsville police said that Jennifer Haight of Youngsville reported her son's Mongoose BMX bicycle was taken from YEMS between 3 p.m. June 7 and 3 p.m. June 8. The bike is orange, brown and black with skull bones for tire gaps. If anyone has information please call the Youngsville police.
Disorderly Conduct. Youngsville police said they investigated a fight that occurred at 1 p.m., May 16 in the restroom at YEMS. Three ten-year old males have been cited for shoving, punching and slamming a ten-year old victim, who received injuries. Charges were filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth's office.
DUI. Warren-based State police said Patrick Nelson, Youngsville was arrested at 1:25 a.m., June 10 for DUI following a traffic stop along West Main Street, Youngsville. Nelson was driving a 1989 Ford F150. Charges were filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.
