Warren
Possession. Warren City Police reported that John E Snyder, Jr. and Raymond D. Snyder, both homeless, were taken into custody and charged on June 5 after they ordered 60 grams of synthetic marijuana via the internet. The suspects intended the package to be delivered to their PO Box but FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes and the package was delivered to another city resident who turned the package over to police. The suspects were arraigned and placed in the Warren County Jail on charges of manufacture, deliver, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal conspiracy and possession of a controlled or a counterfeit substance.
Public drunkenness. Warren City Police reported that a non-traffic citation was filed charging Nicole A. Neidrick, Wawrren, after officers came in contact with her at 3:32 a.m. on June 6 at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Russell.
Harassment. Warren City Police reported that non-traffic citations were filed charging Herbert L. Proctor, Jr., Warren, after he was involved in a physical and verbal altercation on May 28 at 11:31 p.m. at the intersection of Biddle Street and Onondaga Street with two known individuals.
Deerfield Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based State Police reported that someone entered the home of a 33 year old male on Davey Hill Road in Pittsfield and stole two bottles of prescription medication between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on June 1. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Eldred Twp.
Theft. Warren-based State Police reported that one pump jack and four counterweights were stolen from a private property on Eureka Road belonging to Robert Brown, Spartansburg, between May 24 and May 31. Estimated value is approximately $1,400. The suspect(s) fled undetected. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Farminigton Twp.
Theft. Warren-based State Police reported that on June 4 between 4 and 4:30 p.m., one male and two females, all in their early 20s, entered a residence belonging to Darrell Smith, Russell, and proceeded to steal various items. The suspects were driving a red Ford, possible a Ford Escort, baring temporary Virginia plates. The suspects drove away from the scene and proceeded to abandon the property in a local creek only a few miles from Smith's residence. If anyone has any additional information regarding this incident, they are asked to call the State Police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers. The investigation is pending.
Glade Twp.
Paraphernalia. Warren-based State Police reported that they were called to assist emergency medical services with securing a scene on Jackson Avenue for a call of an overdose on June 4 at 12:15 p.m. Upon arrival, a glass pipe with marijuana residue was found on the night stand of a 17 year old male. Charges are pending in this investigation with District Justice Laura Bauer and Warren County Juvenile Probation.
Pittsfield Twp.
Harassment. Warren-based State Police reported that a known 10 year old male and a known 14 year old male were passengers on a school bus on June 4 on SR 27 near Marsheann Road when they became involved in a physical altercation stemming from an unresolved bullying issue at Youngsville Elementary/Middle School. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending, police reported.
Spring Creek Twp.
Theft. Warren-based State Police reported that someone stole five stop signs and their posts at several intersections throughout Spring Creek Township between June 1 and June 4. The total cost of the signs is estimated at $500. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Theft. Warren-based State Police reported that someone went to a construction area on Knapp Road near Hyde Road and removed 50 to 75 sections of steel rebar and two construction barrels belonging to Shingledecker Welding, Inc., Franklin, between June 1 and June 2. Total estimated loss is $1,200. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Fleeing and Eluding. Warren-based State Police reported that troopers attempted to stop a motorcycle in Sugar Grove Borough for a registration violation on June 3 at 2:43 a.m. The operator, a known 16 year old male, fled on Pleasant Street, School Street and on to Sugar Grove Elementary School property. Troopers located the motorcycle on Cross Road and Stillwater Road. The male was apprehended on Turnpike Cemetery Road when he attempted to turn into a field and became stuck in a ditch. He was charged with fleeing and eluding police, resisting arrest and numerous summary traffic violations.
