Max Conklin hit for the cycle for The Plaza in a Boys Training Little League game against Greene Law Office Tuesday night. Jon and Owen Blum also each hit a double for The Plaza. Drew Wees homered for Green Law Offices and Trevor Mueller tripled.
James Swanson had two home runs, including a grand slam in the second inning to help lead D&I Silica to a 9-8 victory over Frantz & Russell Tuesday night in Boys Minors action. Ryon Flatt and Alex Anderson added doubles for D&I and Mitchell McNeal hit a triple. Chase Bees had a double for Frantz & Russell.
Maddie Loutzenhiser gave up only one hit and also smacked a double as Cornerstone defeated Tidioute Oil 11-1 in a Girls Majors Little League game Tuesday. Margo Loutzenhiser went 2-for-3 with a triple and Kelsey Craft added a double. Miranda Garrif and Emily Colvin both added singles for Cornerstone, who tallied nine hits in the game.

Pitching Maddie

Chase Elmquist pitched five innings of no-hit ball for PGE in a 7-2 Boys Majors victory over Rod Johnson Construction on Monday. A sixth-inning rally by Johnson Construction included a two-run homer by Kolton Johnson and a double by Ryan Weaver, but it wasn't enough.
Hunter Loomis, Drew Swanson and Ryan Rafalski all were part of the pitching effort in Wells Fargo Advisors' win over Youngsville Dairy Queen in Boys Minors play. Rafalski also made a big impact at the plate going 2-for-2 with a double.
Wilcox Brothers' Kyle Coons was 4-for-4 with a double and four runs scored during a 12-12 tie between Wilcox and The Bucket in Boys Minors action on Tuesday.
