Criminal trespass. City of Warren Police reported that Kenneth O. Peters, Sugar Grove, was taken into custody and charged today after he allegedly entered the residence of a family member at 4 a.m. on June 5 and allsulted her while she was asleep. He also threatened her life, police said. He has been charged with criminal trespass, simple assault and terroristic threats.
Conewango Twp.
Sexual assault. Conewango Township Police reported that on two seperate occassions, on May 26 and June 3, Joshua Jon Turner, Warren, had sexual intercourse with a female juvenile under the age of 16 years at a residence in North Warren. Police reported that on one of the occassions another juvenile female witnessed Turner engaging in sexual activity with the victim. As a result of the incients, police charged Turner with 2 counts each of felony statuatory assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and aggravated indecent assault as well as three counts of misdemeanor corruption of minors. The charges were filed on June 5 and Turner was subsequently arraigned before District Justice Laura Bauer and was committed to the Warren County Jail on $25,000 bail.
