Memorial service for John Dennis "Denny" Caldwell, 68 of Skiatook, was held Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the St. Peters Episcopal Church, with Father Herbert Pappini officiating.
Arrangements were by Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Musical selection for the service was "Go Rest High On That Moun-tain".
Denny passed away on May 28, 2012 at his residence. He was born on August 8, 1943 in Warren, Pennsylvania to John Earl and Margaret (Carlson) Caldwell. He served his country in the Navy from April 1962 to April 1965; he then transferred to the United States Naval Reserve where he served until April 1968. Denny worked in the meat busi-ness as a butcher; he worked at the Super H Gro-cery Store for many years. He had made his home in Skiatook since 1989 where he was a member of the lo-cal VFW. Denny was an avid golfer and loved being with his family.
Denny is survived by his wife Glenda of the home; three sons: John Caldwell Jr. of Skiatook; Todd Wagoner of Fairbanks, Alaska; Charles Tiblow and wife Ashley of Tulsa; two daughters: Johnette Caldwell Alfrey and hus-band Dana of Cleveland; Tanya Rodgers and hus-band Rob of Olympia, WA; three brothers: Ronald Caldwell and wife Laurie, William Caldwell and wife Karen, Mickey Caldwell and wife Tracey all of War-ren, Pa.; a sister Susie Peter-son of Warren, Pa.; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Mary Caldwell, an infant sister Cindy Caldwell and sister Linda Constable.
