The Northwest 4-H Program will offer two camps for 4-H members to participate in this June. The first camp is for members completing grades 2-5 and is titled "Survivor." The camp will be held June 14-17 at All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church Camp near Emlenton, PA. Campers attending from the area will have an opportunity to meet youth from across the northwestern half of Pennsylvania.
A second camp is scheduled for members completing grades 6-8 at the All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church Camp. The camp will be held June 17-21. "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" will get members moving as they explore robotics, aerodynamics, propulsion, and more. Members will also see two familiar faces at camp as Andy Gates and Katrina Nickerson will be counselors at this year's camp.
Both camps offer members the opportunity to have fun while learning new 4-H skills. The deadline to apply for camp is June 1. Contact the Penn State Extension office for more details at 563-9388.
