EHS football

The 8th Annual Northern Area Youth Football Camp will be held from 6-8 p.m. June 18-21 at EHS. Anyone interested in signing up should contact Eisenhower football coach Jim Penley at EHS 757-8878. Cost will be $15 dollars and early registration will get a free camp T-shirt.

This group of Warren girls won the 15-18-year-old division of the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Tournament held May 19-20 at Betts Park in Warren. From left are team members Emily Sherman, Sabrina Anderson, Kristie Reynolds and Taylor Mineweaser.

The 8th annual Blue/ Gold spring flag football game at EHS will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, June 1. The spring game is the culmination of the spring mini-camp practices for next year's football team. The game is free to the public with concessions available.

Jerry Bancroft had the nine-hole low gross of 34 and the 18-hole gross of 71 during the Conewango Valley Country Club's men's day golf on Thursday.

Rec softball

Ryan D. Fralick Chiropractic went 2-0 over the past two weeks, defeating Wing City Bar & Grille and Cougar Bob's by scores of 19-0 and 8-7, respectively, in the Richard T. Betts Rec Modified Softball League.

Joe Conti won both games, going the distance against Cougar Bob's while striking out seven, and pitched four innings with five strikeouts against Wing City.

Kyle Grey and Chris Mitchell both recorded hits in every at-bat to lead the way against Cougar Bob's. Shane Swan and Jim Cama also each added doubles.

Mario Muscarella had a home run and three RBI against Wing City, while Jay Grann and Cama combined for seven RBI.

Benefit trap shoot

The Disabled American Veterans Benefit Trap Shoot, to benefit the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 75, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the Sheffield Rod and Gun Club. There will be a total of 75 targets, with one round of wobble and one round of doubles. The cost is $20 per shooter, or $15 junior shooter 17 and under.

Prizes will be awarded to high overall shooter, high wobble, high doubles, high senior, and high junior. Shoot-offs will be held at 2:30 p.m., if necessary. Lewis Class is available for every ten shooters.

Chautauqua trap

Randolph suffered its first loss of the year to Celoron, 344-342. Brian Whalen had the lone 50 for Celoron and Gary Sickles had the lone 50 for Randolph. Busti beat Carroll, 336-321, in the other match.

High ladies were Cindy Cable and Tiffany Decker with 48. High junior was Andrew Hvizdzak with a 48. High sub-juniors were Dalton Becker and Ben Paddock with 46. High vet was Whalen with his 50. High senior vet was Sickles with his 50. High super senior vet was Red France with 46.
