Auto theft. Warren-based State Police reported that an unknown individual arrived at the residence of Benjamin Birchard, Maehn Street, Grand Valley, on May 22 and stole a dark blue 2003 Hyundai Sonata that belongs to Birchard. The vehicle was found to have crashed in Titusville on May 23 between 4 and 4:30 a.m. Several items were found in the vehicle that are being considered evidence. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Assault. Robert Grant, 20, Russell, reported to Warren-based state police that he was struck in the head with a blunt object by another male while he was at a party on Coal Bed Road between 3 and 5 a.m. May 24. According to police, Grant required medical treatment for his injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
