Dear editor:
It's that time of year again when all the Little Leaguers are present throughout the community asking for donations.
Yes, we had our turn on Saturday and thank you to all the generous citizens who gave.
But, I would like to remind parents and children alike that we are representing our Little League and should conduct ourselves appropriately. I was very disappointed in some players stationed at a local bank who appeared to be about 11 or 12 years old.
They were being very loud, rude and obnoxious while also blocking the doors. They were using inappropriate language as well. I didn't see any adults around. Hopefully parents will read this letter and remind all children of their manners.
