Dear editor:
The audacity of President Obama, using the killing of Osama bin Laden to score political points! In hindsight isn't it obvious pulling the trigger on this operation was no big deal?
The previous administration would have NEVER resorted to such tactics. Except when President Bush landed on the aircraft carrier proclaiming "Mission Accomplished." Or when Vice President Cheney assured the nation we would incur another 9/11 attack unless President Bush was re-elected in 2004.
And why didn't President Obama thank the REAL heroes of the successful bin Laden mission. The Seals? No, the Bush administration who set the path for bin Laden's assured demise by attacking Iraq, exactly where he wasn't.
Mission Accomplished. Thank you Seals.
And Mr. President, no gloating. You know you would have had a free pass if the mission failed. This is country with a loving, forgiving people.
