Warren Post 135 played Franklin to a doubleheader split in Junior American Legion Baseball play on Saturday. In the opener, Post 135 was a 7-4 winner. Casey Vincent was 2-for-4 with three RBI and struck out 17 batters in earning the victory. Jimmy Vile also contributed two hits in the victory.
In a 15-14 setback in game two, D.J. Fehlman finished 4-for-5 at the plate and teammate Kyle Hunt drove in a team-best three runs.

The Kinzua U12 boys soccer team (5-1) defeated Greenville (5-1), 2-0, Sunday in Greenville. Jimmy Lobdell and Tommy Harrington scored goals for the winners with Michael Shingler and Lobdell adding assists. Lionel Eason and Seth Harrington were the winning goalkeepers.
