Charged. Warren City police said they charged Andrew Yeagle, Russell, at 4:14 a.m. May 19 with DUI general impairment, DUI highest rate of alcohol, turning movements and required signals, and expired inspection following a traffic stop on Market Street for erratic driving.
Retail theft. Warren City police said a criminal complaint was filed charging Allen Shoemaker, Warren, with retail theft following an incident at Thorne's BiLo, Market Street Plaza, at 10:42 a.m. May 19. According to police, Shoemaker removed an item from its box, concealed it in his backpack and attempted to leave the store without paying for it.
Cited. Warren City police said Jacob Vincent, Tidioute, was cited after a traffic stop at 2:06 a.m. May 20 on Pennsylvania Ave. W. at Walnut Street for the driver's side headlight out. Police said during the traffic stop they noticed drug paraphenalia in Vincent's vehicle, which was confiscated.
Charged. Warren City police said a juvenile allegation was filed Monday charging a 17-year-old male after they were dispatched to the pavilion in the center of Betts Park on a complaint of individuals smoking marijuana. Police said marijuana was found in the juvenile's backpack.

Retail theft. Personnel at Wal-Mart reported to Warren-based state police that Joshua Howard, 29, Sugar Grove, allegedly stole fishing lures between 3 and 4 p.m. on May 18. Police said Howard was cited for retail theft; charges were filed through District Justice Laura Bauer's office.
Eldred Twp.
Burglary/theft. Edward Burns, 64, Pleasantville, reported to Warren-based state police that someone broke into his camp at 2253 Emerson Hill Rd. sometime between 6:30 p.m. May 12 and 4:30 p.m. May 19. According to police, the intruders took a 37-inch Vizio flat screen TV, a window air conditioning unit, an Xbox 360, an unknown brand cordless drill with various bits, a turkey deep fryer, a .308 cal. Winchester rifle with mounted 4x12 Bushnell scope and an unknown make/model .22 cal. rifle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.
Southwest Twp.
Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to a verbal argument in the area of Chapel Hill Road, Grand Valley, at 4 a.m. May 19. According to police, Edward Bedow, 39, Grand Valley, became angry and grabbed a 44-year-old female from Falconer, N.Y., by the neck. Police said a charge of harassment against Bedow is pending and will be filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth's office.
Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Route 27 between Colorado and Hunter School roads at 1:25 a.m. May 20. According to police, Cody Johnson, 19, Grand Valley, lost control of his vehicle and went off the road. Police said it was determined that Johnson was under the influence of alcohol. Police said charges of DUI and several other traffic violations are pending and will be filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth's office.
