Kaitlin Sedon, daughter of Bob and Andrea Sedon of Russell, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Pennsylvania Pageant to be held Aug. 12-13 in Harrisburg. The National American Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4-18, and have five age divisions. Kaitlin will participate in the Junior Teen age division. The American Miss pageant is based on poise and presentation and places emphasis on the importance of developing self-confidence, learning good sportsmanship, as well as setting and achieving personal goals.
Kaitlin is an eighth grader and Beaty Middle School, and her activities include student government, volleyball, basketball, track, 4-H scrapbooking and youth group.
