Sheffield hit the road to Ridgway on Wednesday, losing to the hosts, 13-1.
"We didn't hit the ball well at all," said Sheffield coach Tracey Vile. "They had a decent pitcher, but we just weren't hitting the ball."
The game quickly got away from the Wolverines when Ridgway scored 10 runs in the first inning. "They were just hitting the ball where we weren't."
Hannah Vile offered the Wolverines their only hits in the game, going two for two with a run scored.
The Wolverines will host Johnsonburg on Friday for their final game of the year.
"We're going to focus on what we've been doing in practice all year long. The practice is good, we just don't execute during the game," said Vile.
