Charged. Warren City police on Wednesday charged John L. Erickson, Warren, with criminal trespass after he allegedly went onto the porch of a Jackson Avenue residence at approximately 2 p.m. May 15 and placed papers in the mailbox. Erickson was given notice of trespass for the property on March 8, 2008, according to police.
Harassment. Warren-based state police report that Danielle Coudriet, 27, subjected Heidi M. Westfall, 44, Grand Valley, to physical contact at Warren State Hospital at approximately 3:45 p.m. on May 15. According to police, charges of harassment are to be filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.
Harassment. Warren-based state police investigated an alleged physical altercation between two known 11-year-old juveniles at the Warren Area Elementary School playground at approximately 11:30 a.m. on May 15. According to police, charges of harassment are pending.
Probation violation. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Jack Ferry, 36, Sheffield, on May 13 on charges of violation of probation. According to officers, Ferry, who was originally placed on probation on a charge of theft by unlawful taking, was arrested on a supervisor's warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police said Bradley E. Huling, 30, Pittsfield, was caught on Deer Run Road at Rt. 27 at 6:50 a.m. May 14. According to police, Huling had a small amount of scrap metal that belonged to a known male victim, 46, Sugar Grove, in the bed of his truck. Police said the victim identified Huling from having known him in the past. Police said Huling left the scene after the victim confronted him while the victim was attempting to contact police. Huling was located at his residence on May 15 and subsequently charged with theft by unlawful taking.
