Charged. Warren City police on Monday charged John T. Leichtenberger, Warren, with corruption of minors, three counts of conspiracy to commit theft from a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia after an investigation into several thefts from motor vehicles which occurred on April 8. According to police, Leichtenberger was allegedly with a known 17-year-old male when several items were stolen from vehicles. Police said following a search of Leichtenberger's room on April 12, several item of drug paraphernalia were found.
Charged. Warren City police said they filed a juvenile allegation on Monday charging a 17-year-old male with six counts of theft from a motor vehicle and six counts of receiving stolen property after an investigation into several thefts from motor vehicles on April 8.
Charged. Warren City police on Monday charged Nathan E. Southwick, Warren, with theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property. According to police, Southwick entered a vehicle on Walnut Street on March 15 and removed an Apple iPhone.
Glade Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police investigated a theft which occurred between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Monday on Egypt Hollow Road. According to police, Andy Byler, 34, Sugar Grove, was arrested for unlawfully entering the posted property of Chris McKee, 34, Warren, and removing a truckload of logs valued at approximately $1,000. Byler was arraigned in front of District Justice Laura Bauer.
Pine Grove Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police responded to a reported theft on N. Main Street, Russell, which occurred between April 21 and May 8. According to police, someone took four vehicle rims belonging to Joshua Whitesel, Warren, that were behind a house on N. Main Street. Two of the rims were chrome and the other two were of the same design but painted blue. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
