Fishing deputies get felonious fish!

May 10, 2012
The Times Observer

"I COT a Fish" Deputies Scott Lauffenburger, Shelby Proctor and Jeanah Carlson reap rewards for capturing tagged fish released by the WCCBI Council on Tourism. Scott caught the "Thompson Terror' with a reward of $200. Shelby caught a $50 fish, and Jeanah caught a $25 fish.

According to John Papalia of the Council on Tourism there are still many tagged fish swimming in Warren County waters. The $2,000 and $1,000 fish are still on the loose. Chapman Charlie was captured but then escaped again into Chapman Lake and his reward has been raised to $1,000. Says John, "These criminal fish must be captured and we are willing to pay to get the job done!"
