Dear editor,
Once again the Warren County Commissioners are wasting taxpayer dollars on a lawsuit that they will lose!! The Pa County Code is very specific in the fact that all "Elected Officials" are to be given the same benefits, etc. If they decide to take benefits away it has to be for ALL "Elected Officials". The Commissioners cannot pick and choose who is to receive these benefits. This is a blatant violation of the Pa. County Code!!! They are wasting time and money fighting the lawsuit that the Auditors and Jury Commisioners have filed against them.
Between the Warren County School District and the Warren County Commissioners, they seem to feel that there is a bottomless pit of taxpayer money to be spent at their will and I,for one, want more accountability.
