Benefit fund-raiser
The Dan Church and Family Charity Golf Outing will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at Jackson Valley Country Club.
The event will benefit Dan Church's medical expenses. Church, a Warren-native, sustained head and facial trauma in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, as the result of a fall, and is currently in a fight for his life.
The fee is $75 per person in four-person teams, and includes 18 holes plus cart in the scramble format.
There is also a picnic and activities to make it a family outing.

Rescheduled
The Eisenhower at Northwestern high school softball game scheduled for Saturday, May 5, has been rescheduled to 4 p.m. Friday, May 11, at Northwestern High School in Albion.

The Kane at Sheffield high school softball doubleheader originally scheduled for Thursday was postponed. The game will be made up at 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 15, at Sheffield Area High School.
Cinco Race
The 12th Annual Cinco Race (formerly the High 5 Cinco de Mayo), to benefit Warren County libraries, will be held this Saturday in Warren. Race-day registration - for 1.5-mile and 5-mile races and walks - will begin at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at 105 Lee St. near Crescent Park by the hospital.
Activities will begin with 100- and 200-yard dashes for youth at 8:30 a.m., and the 1.5-mile and 5-mile walks begin at 8:45 a.m.
The 5-mile race along the Allegheny River starts at 9:30 a.m., and the 1.5-mile race at 9:45 a.m. Activities follow the race starts.
Registration to benefit libraries is $25 per participant with checks made to running rEVOLUTION.
