Youth soccer

The Kinzua U14 boys soccer team played Greenville United to a 1-1 tie on Sunday. Kinzua got a goal from Josh Eernisse and strong defensive performances from Chris Lindell and Chris Johnson. Matt Campbell and Clark Eason split time in goal.

Rescheduled

The Youngsville at Iroquois softball game originally scheduled for Tuesday was postponed. The game will be made up at 4 p.m., Monday, at Iroquois High School.

The Youngsville at North East baseball game originally scheduled for Tuesday was postponed. The game will be made up at 4 p.m. Wednesday, at North East High School.

The Eisenhower at North East softball game originally scheduled for Tuesday was postponed. The game will be made up at 4 p.m. Friday.

The Eisenhower at Seneca baseball game originally scheduled for Tuesday was postponed. No make-up date has been announced.

Hole-in-one

Ryan Lemon recorded a hole in one on the par 3, 198-yard, fifth hole Tuesday at Cable Hollow Golf Club. His ace came while using his hybrid club and was witnessed by John Lindsay, Brad Beckstrom and Cregg Bernard.

Golf results

Ken Williams had low gross of 42 and Don Hook had low net of 34 in Youngsville Senior Golf League play Tuesday at Maplehurst Country Club. Pete Hofert and Al Hawley had birdies during the round.
