CORRY - The Warren Dragons tennis team recorded a 5-0 win over Corry on Tuesday in an important Region 2 match.
"With that win, the Dragons take sole possession of the Region 2 championship, which has been won by Fairview for the past 11 years," said Warren coach Jeff Bartsch. "Though the 15-0 Dragons have one remaining Region match (with Harbor Creek), Fairview has two losses and cannot surpass us."

The doubles pairs of Nate Sandberg and Grayson Foley and Liam Boger and Nick Tarpenning were both victorious with matching 6-0, 6-1 wins.
On Wednesday, the Dragons will travel with the entire squad to Sharon to play the Tri-County Championships at the Buhl Park Complex. Several Dragon players are seeded in the flighted event to include their top three singles players and all four top doubles teams. Last year, the Dragons took second in the event and, in 2010, the Dragons won the tournament.
