The Warren Players production of Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap" is now in rehearsal at the Struthers Library Theatre. If you're familiar with Christie's repertoire of murderous "whodunits" then you know you're in for a treat.
The talented cast consists of Jennifer Morley as Mollie Ralston, Chris Snyder as Giles Ralston, Beni Segal as Christopher Wren, Judy Trask as Mrs. Boyle, Jean Gomory as Miss Casewell, Kyle Cornell as Mr. Paravicini, Ron Keeney as Sergeant Trotter, and John Beard as Major Metcalf.
The play is the best of the English "weekend in the country" murder mysteries. Eight people are snowed in at a guest house: Mollie and Giles Ralston, the owners; four invited guests, each with eccentric characteristics; the unexpected guest, who turns up after his car overturns in the snow storm; and a detective. Once everyone has arrived it is not long before a murder takes place and the detective assembles all the guests together and interrogates each one. During his cross-examination we learn a little more about these secretive characters and the mystery escalates.
