Dear editor,
Hillary Clinton OK's $1.5 billion aid to Egypt; U.S. OK's $88.6 million to Palestine. What? How can this be? The U.S. is in debt trillions of dollars and we still give money away. I don't think I've heard one presidential "wannabe" offer to suspend all foreign aid to get this country back on track.
These countries promote the Muslim/Islam doctrine: kill the infidels (Americans) and we still cater to them. Our current President bows and apologizes to foreign leaders.
My life revolved around the American flag: I bow to no one, especially foreigners who hate us.
Recently, Defense Secretary Panetta apologizes for "gruesome" military photos of bloody remains of dead insurgents. Top military officials "expressing regret" for embarassing misteps by the military. What a load of crap!
Did any foreign ambassador apologize to the U.S. for hanging dead U.S. soldiers on a bridge or dragging other dead U.S. soldiers through the streets? No!
Recently, American servicemen urinated on dead muslims. So what? In World War II, General George Patton urinated in the Rhine River in Germany, knowing it would be the ultimate insult to the Nazi's. No apologies. We won, which is something we can't do any more. Our military is governed by "rules of engagement." Our enemies aren't.
Again, true Americans don't bow or apologize. They honor and respect the ideals represented by the American flag.

P.S. Just read in today's paper (Friday) Defense Secretary Panetta says we'll be ready if needed in Syria. What! We never learn from other mistakes.
