Farmington Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that someone stole the fresh water cap off of the side of a camper belonging to Kenneth Reynolds, Sugar Grove, between April 14 and 20. The suspect also opened the valve on Reynolds' propane tank and emptied it. Police said the amount stolen is estimated at approximately $50. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that someone threw a rock through a window of a garage owned by Kristopher Black, Sugar Grove, between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. on April 21. Damage is estimated at approximately $300. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Pittsfield Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that someone cut a lock and broke the window of the front door at a camp on Morrison Hill Road owned by Anthony Kaminski, Erie, between March 15 and April 22. Police said damage is estimated at $400. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Eldred Twp.

DUI crash. Warren based state police have charged a Spartansburg man with theft, unauthorised use of a motor vehicle, DUI and several other traffic violations following a crash at 9:35 a.m. Sunday on Ongley Hill Road. According to police, a vehicle operated by Eric Pierce, 41, of Spartansburg, was traveling east and failed to negotiate a right hand curve. The pickup truck went off the road and struck a tree. Pierce received moderate injuries and was transported to Titusville Hospital for treatment. It was determined that he was under the influence at the time of the crash. Upon further investigation, police said, it was discovered the Pierce took the truck without permission from the residence of Scott Grove of Titusville. Pierce was arraigned by District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth and placed in the Warren County Jail in on $50,000 cash bond. Police were assisted at the scene by Grand Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
