Burglary. Conewango Township Police reported that sometime between April 15 and April 20, unknown suspect(s) entered the property of Robert Warner, 165 Warner Lane, and stole the following items from inside the garage and in the yard: miscellaneous grinders, cordless and corded drills, a Harris acetylene gauge set, a treadmill, a red1979 Chevy 3/4 ton pick-up truck, a 1996 tan Buick Regal, a yellow salt spreader that connects to the back of a truck, a green 1,000 gallon steel fuel tank wuth 200 gallons of diesel fuel inside, a white150 gallon steel l-shaped fuel tank for use in the back of a pick-up truck, a black 60" Rockhound attachment for a skidsteer, a yellowish orange brush hog approximately 4' by 4', a yellow jackhammer attachment for a skidsteer, a fuel pump for a 1,000 gallon fuel tank, a large roll of 1/2" copper tubing, many miscellaneous PVC fittings, a silver 20 ton equipment trailer approximately 8' wide by 30' long with a wooden deck, and a three stage aluminum ladder. The total value of the stolen items is in excess of $40,000. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Conewango Township Police.
Pittsfield Twp.
Crash. Warren-based State Police responded to a crash at the intersection of Routes 27 and 426 on April 20 at 4:54 p.m. A 2010 Chevrolet Colorado driven by Wesley Hess, Pleasantville, was traveling west on 27 and a 2000 Mercury Cougar driven by Caitlin Carlin, Berwick, Pa., was traveling east on 27. Carlin attempted to make a left turn onto 426 and turned into the path of Hess. Hess' vehicle struck Carlin's on the passenger side door, pushing it into a guard rail where it came to rest. All occupants, including a passenger in Carlin's vehicle, were transported to Warren General Hospital for minor injuries. Both cars were towed from the scene. Carlin was cited for vehicles turning left as well as a seat belt violation. State Police were assisted on the scene by EmergyCare, Garland VFD, Youngsville Ambulance, and Grand Valley Ambulance.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based State Police reported that unknown suspect(s) went to a camp on Panther Gap Road owned by Jeffrey Borowicz, Erie, between April 9 and April 20 and, using a BB gun, shot four windows. Total damage is estimated at $700.
