Warren

Charged. Warren City Police on April 16 charged Brian Fitzgerald, Warren, with harassment after a known female filed a complaint that Fitzgerald allegedly has repeatedly contacted and harassed her.

Youngsville

Theft. Youngsville Borough Police said Vanessa Fox, Youngsville, reported that her 12-year-old son had his Kindle Fire stolen while at Youngsville Elementary/Middle School on April 11. Police said they are investigating and have identified a suspect. Charges are pending.

Theft. Youngsville Borough Police said Michael Archuleta, Youngsville, reported to police on Tuesday that someone entered his home and took a Kodak digital camera and two piggy banks with cash inside. Police said they are looking at an adult male from the area that has been known to visit the residence. Charges are pending.

Crash. Youngsville Borough Police responded to a crash at the intersection of N. Main Street and Highland Avenue on at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Police said Rhonda Craig, Youngsville, was driving north on N. Main Street when John McDonnell, Sugar Grove, pulled out from Highland Avenue and struck the side of Craig's vehicle. Police said McDonnell has been cited for a traffic violation.

Scam. Youngsville Borough Police said William Hebner Sr., Youngsville, reported on Wednesday that someone sent him a $4,995 worthless check. He took it to a local bank and was told it was fake.The check was from HAD Truck Pride in St. Louis, Mo. Police said they are looking into the scam.

Drug paraphernalia. Youngsville Borough Police reported that an officer was called to the area of Bates Street and E. Main Street for drug paraphernalia on the ground near the high school. Police said the caller did not see who left the paraphernalia there.
