EDINBORO - The Warren boys tennis team recorded two team wins Tuesday - one on the tennis courts, and one off the courts.
Playing at General McLane, the Dragons defeated the Lancers by a 5-0 score.
Securing wins for the Dragons in singles were Shane Burns, Thomas Pellegrino and Matt Sandberg. Doubles winners were Liam Boger and Nick Tarpenning, and the pair of Nate Sandberg and Grayson Foley.
Exhibition winners were Ylli Bakalli in singles, and Quinn Boger and Drew Lobdell in doubles. Also winning in doubles was Neil Morrison and Quinn Boger.
The first win of the day, according to Warren coach Jeff Bartsch, was a forfeit win over Fairview from a match in which the Tigers had beaten Warren, 3-2, this past Saturday.
"One of the players on the Fairview squad was declared ineligible and Warren was awarded a forfeit team win," said Bartsch. "Fairview utilized that athlete in four matches last week and all four opponents were offered the opportunity to accept a forfeit team win."
