Warren’s girls varsity softball team meets by the dugout during a 10-0 victory over Central Tech on Tuesday at the Farm Colony Complex.
"That's an important part of our game so far this year, being able to rally with two outs," said Warren coach Mark Bupp, whose Dragons are 6-0 overall and 4-0 and in first place in Region 6.
Warren was very disciplined at the plate, especially Eaton, who walked four times and scored three runs.
"I was really pleased with the way Kristin Hultquist hit the ball all game long," said coach Bupp. "Val Latimer stepped up today with a good at bat for a base hit."
Alexa Bupp finished 2-for-3 with four RBI.
"The pitching today was a combination of Lex (Alexa Bupp) and freshman Meghan Loutzenhiser, getting her first varsity action on the mound," said coach Bupp.
Bupp finished with 10 strikeouts in four innings, and Loutzenhiser two in an inning of work.

North East 9,
Youngsville 2
NORTH EAST - Youngsville coach Mark Nyquist admitted that he hasn't been this disappointed in quite awhile.
According to the veteran coach, his team showed little intensity, made too many mental mistakes and issued too many free passes during a 9-2 loss to North East on Tuesday.
"We gave up seven walks and all seven of those runners came around to score," said Nyquist. "There was just no intensity today. I think Colleen Rex was the only one who showed up to play today. She had an absolutely incredible game behind the plate."
Despite the loss, Youngsville actually got on the board first. Kennedy Cratty singled with one out in the third and Amber Fox followed with her second homer of the year to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead.
North East would tie the game in the bottom of the third and knock the Eagles around for seven runs in the bottom of the fourth to make it 9-2. Tori Prather provided the biggest blow for the Grapepickers, finishing with five RBI.
The Eagles (4-4) finished with six hits, including two each from Cratty and Fox. Elise Dunn and Jessica Jameson also singled.
Youngsville looks for victory number five on Thursday when it hosts General McLane.
