Golden Egg winners

Calendar Party
Tidioute Community Charter School Yearbook Committee will be hosting a calendar party on Friday, April 20 at 7 p.m.
A table is created and decorated for each month of the year and there will be activities and food that represent that month.
There will be lots of door prizes for local merchants.
Advisors Kelley McKean and Ryan Guerra will be available to assist you with questions.
Those wishing to donate door prizes can contact Kelley at 484-3550.
Turkey Party
Watson Grange members will be holding their Turkey Party on Saturday evening at the Grange Hall at 6 p.m.
This is open to the public and all are welcome.
TCCS Spiritwear
Today, April 18 is the last day to order your Tidioute Community Charter School Spiritwear items.
Order forms have been out at Polly's ShurSave Market, Tidioute Trading Post, Buccardo's Restaurant and Tidioute Community Charter School office.
You can place your order until 3 p.m. today at the school or call 484-3550.
Fire Dept Meeting
The regular monthly meeting of the Tidioute Area Volunteer Fire Department will on Monday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. due to election day.
Cash Raffle
Ladies Guild of ST John Church is holding a Cash Raffle.
Tickets will be $10 each and the drawing will be as soon as all the tickets are sold.
First place drawing will be for $50, second place drawing will be for $100 and third place drawing will be for $250.
A fourth place drawing will be held for $500 and all the tickets will be back into the drawing for this one.
There are only 200 tickets being sold.
You can purchase your tickets from any member of the Ladies Guild or call Fran O'Hosky at 484-7157.
Rummage Sale
ST John Ladies Guild will be having a Rummage Sale a ST John Center on Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19 in conjunction with the Townwide Yard Sale.

Outreach Program
Successful
Frances O'Hosky would like to thank everyone who donated items and or cash to her Lenten project for the Piarish School and Outreach Program in Martin, Ky.
She delivered a nice sum of money and 34 boxes of goods to the school on April 11, 2012 and they were received with gratitude.
Egg Hunt results
Donna Swartz and Michelle Buccardo would like to thank the Pennsylvania State Championship Fishing Tournament for all the help in having another successful Easter Egg Hunt for the Children of the community.
The Tidioute Lions Club once again paid for all the eggs. Thanks to Maureen McAfoose and the Tidioute Community Charter School for the use of the cafeteria at the school to cook and color all the eggs. Limestone Township Supervisors, Ladies Auxiliary of Post 8803, Tidioute Trading Post, Moore's Greenhouse, Northwest Engineering and McLaughlin Construction for the monetary donations for the prizes and Polly's ShurSave market for the bubbles for in the treat bags that all the children received.

Stocking winner
The Winner of the six foot Easter stocking was Haylee Riemenschneider of Tidioute.
Fire Dept. Aux.
Tidioute Fire Department Auxiliary met last week and the members voted to donate to the benefit being held for Dennis Kitelinger and Sandy Mellon- Hall on Saturday, May 5.
There will be a kitchen work bee on Saturday, April 21 at 9 a.m. Members are being asked to come and help get the kitchen in shape as the social hall is being rented more often and the kitchen needs cleaned.
Also, members voted to dispense with the monthly meetings in July and August only. Regular meetings are held the second Monday of each month and anyone interested in joining are always welcome.
The next meeting will be held on May 14 at 7 p.m.
Hall rental
Anyone wishing to rent the social hall at the firehall may contact Deb Genter at 484-7407, changes have been made in the pricing of the hours the hall can be used making it more affordable.
Yard sales
Tidioute will be holding a Townwide Yard Sale on Saturday, May 19 for any resident who would like to take part.
You can contact Crystal Heenan at the borough office and have your sale listed on the list of sales being held that day.
Car Show
Pennsylvania State Championship Fishing Tournament committee members will be holding their annual Car Show on Saturday, May 26 on Tournament grounds.

Watson Grange
The quarterly birthday dinner honoring Alice Weaver and Meg Froman preceded the recent meeting of Watson Grange with Master Bob Hollabaugh presiding.
Upcoming events include a Turkey Party on Saturday, April 21 with doors opening at 6 p.m. Game Day at Watson on Sunday, April 22 at 2 p.m Regular meetings will be Thursday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. and Thursday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m. Pomona Grange at the Pomona Hall on May 12 at 9 a.m. Craft night at Alice Weaver's on May 14 at 6:30 p.m., Lenhart Cemetery clean up on May 17 at 4 p. m. June 2 will be first auction at Pomona Grange on the Warren County Fair grounds.
This being the 100th year of the State Fair Association, a promotion of quilt blocks for buildings on fair grounds throughout PA is being suggested.
Grange representatives will be attending the Warren County Fair Executive committee meeting on April 19 to hopefully obtain permission to organize this project for the fairgrounds.
A reminder that 2012 dues are now due for members in the amount of $35.
Lottery calendars
ST John's Knights of Columbus still have a few calendars left.
Cost is $25 each and are good from June 1, 2012 till May 31, 2013 and there are 365 chances to Win.
Winning numbers are determined from the PA Daily Lottery PM drawing only and all numbers are played straight as drawn.

Deerfield Township
Deerfield Township supervisors met on April 9 and reported that Althom Road, McCauley Hill Road and Youngsville Road were graded while Althom Road had pot holes filled. Scotch Pine Road, Youngsville Road and Althom Road also had ditches cleaned and a sluice pipe was installed on Althom Road. Fern Hollow was seeded and mulched.
Maintenance was performed on the #800 and #550 trucks as well as the grader.
Bid for RC Gravel, 3A Anti-skid and MC 70 were received and reviewed. Further information regarding the application of MC70 and stone will be forthcoming.
Residents of the township may purchase additional footage coverage and will be expected to be paid for one week prior to application.
The social media, Facebook, has been established for the township and may be visited by typing in Deerfield Township on the search line.
Approved minutes, following the monthly meeting will be posted for review.
Election Day is Tuesday, April 24.
Spring Clean up will be on Saturday, June 2 2012 from 8 a.m. till 12 noon. No paint cans, tires, shingles or cement blocks will be accepted.
The fee for the Spring Clean up will be $5 per car load and $10 per truck.
VFW Ladies Auxiliary
The Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8803 will be holding their monthly meeting on Monday, April 23 at 9:30 a.m. at the Post Home.
There will be nominations and election of officers for the upcoming year of 2012-2013.
All members are urged to attend.
Tidioute Lions Club
Tidioute Lions Club has several brooms for sale that range from $7 to $10.
To can purchase your brooms from any member of the Lions Club or call Carmen Fedele or Daisy McDonald at 484-7758.
There are still recycling totes for use by those who wish to help collect recycling items such as newspapers, number one plastic, number two plastics, aluminum, clear glass, amber colored glass, green glass and tin cans.
Please remember to rinse out these containers and place them in the appropriate recycling bins.
If you need totes please contact the Lions Club, as these totes are free of charge to Tidioute residents.
Laptop computer winner
Tidioute Fire Department has announced that Paul Morrison of Tidioute won the Laptop Computer that they raffled off and had the drawing on Sunday, April 15.
