Warren White found itself with the highest score around Tuesday in the opening round of the Warren County Scholastic Trap League competition.
Warren White was a 162-159 winner over Youngsville, and defending champion Corry and Warren Blue also were victorious in their season openers. Corry downed Sheffield, 159-154, and Warren Blue topped Tidioute, 152-125. Eisenhower, on bye week in the head-to-head league format, shot a 152.
Warren White was paced by the perfect score of 25 from Drew Lobdell in its victory. Youngsville got a team-high 24 from Dustin Miller. Tucker Corbett and Braden McClain led Corry with scores of 24 and Brandon Kipp's 24 was high for Sheffield.
Michael McDunn's perfect score of 25 helped lift Warren Blue to victory while Anna Lindemuth's 21 was best for Tidioute. Ethan Black, who was recently asked to participate in the Olympic trap shooting training camp in Colorado this June, busted all 25 targets for Eisenhower during their bye week.
