Spring Sports Inside
You can't do much better than second in the state - unless you're Kalil Slaughter, whose goal is first in the 100-meter dash at the PIAA Class AA Track & Field Championships. Still a long way off, Slaughter has begun defense of his District 9 Class AA titles in the 100 and 200, and with his teammates in the 4X100 relay. Slaughter represents a Spring Sports season that returns a District 10 champion boys 4X400 relay team from Warren, and District 10 runner-up teams in Warren baseball, softball and tennis. Both Youngsville's softball and baseball teams look for return trips to the playoffs as well. A special Spring Sports edition is published inside, with a look at Warren baseball, softball, track, tennis and trapshooting, Eisenhower and Youngsville baseball, softball, track and trap, Sheffield softball, track and trap, and Tidioute Charter softball and trap.
