A pair of Warren and Eisenhower teammates were credited with region all-star status after the recently completed 2011-12 boys basketball season.
Warren senior Preston McMeans was a first-team selection in Region 7 and senior teammate Hank Morrison was a second-teamer. Eisenhower got a first-team Region 3 selection from junior Aaron Lundmark and senior teammate Josh Deppas was a second-teamer.
The 2011-12 season capped off a fantastic four-year career for McMeans. The player with a powerful inside and outside game led the Dragons with 472 points this season, leading the Dragons to the District 10 Class AAA championship game where they fell to General McLane. The team also qualified for the PIAA Class AAA playoffs for the first time in five years where they lost to eventual state semifinalist Hampton.

Warren's Preston McMeans
McMeans finished his Warren career as the fourth highest male scorer in school history with 1,120 points, trailing only John Bowen (2,884), Seth Myers (1,298) and Jeff Eaton (1,221).
His teammate Morrison also had a strong senior season, leading the team in rebounding and adding the second highest point total on the team with 354 points.
After a season out of the D-10 Class A playoffs, the Eisenhower Knights returned to the field in 2011-12 thanks in large part to all-stars Lundmark and Deppas.
