Criminal trespass. The Warren Police Department reports investigating an incident of criminal trespass which occurred at approximately 1:35 p.m. on Mar. 29 at BiLo. According to police, Stephen P. Bashaw, of Warren, entered BiLo and refused to leave when asked. Bashaw had previously been given verbal warning of trespass in the presence of police.
Theft-fraud/forgery. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police report investigating an incidence of theft-fraud/forgery which occurred at approximately 10:40 a.m. on March 29 in the area of Crestview Blvd., Warren. According to police, unknown actor(s) called a known 77 year-old female resident of Warren claiming she had won $750,000 in a sweepstakes and asking that she send approximately $5,963 to insure the winnings. The resident never received the prize money. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police.
Conewango Twp.
Found bike. Conewango Township Police report finding a Shimano, 18-speed, bike on Church Street in North Warren at approximately 12 p.m. on Mar. 29. Anyone wishing to claim the bike should contact Conewango Township Police.
Theft. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police report investigating an incident of theft which occurred between March 11 and March 29, at the Warren County PENNDOT Building in Conewango Township. According to police, unknown actor(s) removed a Sthil MS390 chainsaw. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police or Crime Stoppers.
Farmington Twp.
Harassment. Warren-based State Police reported that Thomas Lent and Joan Lent were both accused of committing numerous, repeated acts in an effort to antagonize Mose Byler, Warren, between February 16 and March 29. The accussed had been asked to cease on several occassions but failed to do so. Charges were filed with District Justice Laura Bauer's office.
Glade Twp.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police report investigating an act of criminal mischief which occurred between 10 p.m. Mar. 28 and 4 p.m. Mar. 29 on Holly St. in Glade Township. According to police, an unknown actor threw an egg onto the roof of a 1999 Toyota Camry belonging to a 29 year-old male of Warren
Harassment. Warren-based State Police report investigating an incident of harassment which occurred between 10 a.m. and 9:15 p.m. on Mar. 28, at an apartment at106 Holly St., Glade Township. According to police, Heather Blanchard reported receiving unwanted text messages from a known adult female after asking for the messages to stop. Investigation continues.
Clarendon
Theft by Unlawful Taking. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police report filing charges in and incident of theft by unlawful taking which occurred Dec. 15, 2011, at approximately 10 p.m. According to police, charges were filed with District Judge Laura S. Bauer's office for counts of theft by unlawful taking against Jennie Marie Keener, 33 of 4461 Rt. 646 in Cyclone, PA and James Lyle Kilpatrick, 37 of 4461 Rt. 646 in Cyclone, PA for concealing approximately $252 worth of prescription medication belonging to Kristen A. Mead, 26, of Clarendon.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Possession of drug paraphernalia. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police report investigating an incident of possession of drug paraphernalia which occurred on March 28 at approximately 9:40 p.m., at the Chandlers Valley Trailer Park in Sugar Grove. According to police, Warren County Probation was doing a home check when they came across drug paraphernalia in the possession of Willard R. Fehlman, 38. Charges are pending.
