Trap shoot
A benefit trap shoot, benefitting The Disabled American Veterans chapter 75, will be held Saturday, June 2, at the Sheffield Rod & Gun Club. The event will feature 75 targets total with one round of wobble and one round of doubles.
The event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. The last squad will begin shooting at 2:30 p.m.

Belt promotions
After a two-hour test of Martial Arts skill and knowledge, several students of Johnson’s Black Belt Academy were recently promoted to new belt ranks by Hanshi Rick Johnson, front. Little League
Thursday is the last day for equipment pickup by coaches of Warren County Youth Baseball/Softball Association Little League teams for this season. Pickup is from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Farm Colony.

Event changes
The Oil City at Eisenhower boys and girls track meet originally scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday has been moved to Thursday, April 26. The event will still be held at Eisenhower High School and will begin at 4 p.m.

The Eisenhower softball team will not be playing junior varsity games this season. As a result, all of Eisenhower's varsity home games will begin at 4:30 p.m. rather than the originally scheduled 4 p.m.
J.V. softball
Meghan Loutzenhiser had two hits, including an RBI double in the first inning, and Kennedy Walter added two hits, but six errors cost Warren's junior varsity team in an 8-1 season-opening loss at Harbor Creek on Tuesday.
