AOC on the move
On Sunday, March 25, the Allegheny Outdoor Club (AOC) will hike the Brush Hollow trails near Ridgway. Participants will meet at Howe's True Value on Rt. 6 in Warren at 1:15 p.m. or at the trailhead on Rt. 948 north of Ridgway at 2 p.m. For more information call Pat Shinaberger in Bradford at (814) 368-6728.
On Thursday, March 29, the AOC will hold a planning meeting to schedule events for April, May and June. This will be an eating meeting at the home of Debra and John Young at 1588 Townline Rd., Russell. Participants should bring a dish to share for the dinner, which will be at 5:30 p.m., with the meeting to follow. For those who want to lead an event but cannot attend, email your event to john.young@eagle.zip.net.
AOC summer events include hiking, biking, kayaking and camping. The planning meeting and the events, are open to anyone, experienced or not, who wants to enjoy the outdoors. For more information, call John Young at 757-8158.

Mountains
The Smokey Mountains and the Biltmore Spring Gardens will be the destination of the Allegheny Community Center, 42 Clark St., April 29 through May 4. Included in the trip will be a tour of Berea, Ky., tour of the Smokey Mountains National Park, free time in Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Smith Bros. Dinner Show, Tour of Biltmore Home and Gardens, Comedy Barn evening show, Blue Ridge Mountains Craft Shop, five dinners, five breakfasts, bus escort and more. Reunion planned
Youngsville High School Class of 1957 will have a reunion planning meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at Richard's Restaurant in Youngsville. All are welcome.
