Warren
Information needed. Warren City police are looking for information regarding an accident that occurred on Thursday, March 15 at approximately 6 p.m. near the First Niagara Bank at 515 Pennsylvania Ave. E. According to police, a red sedan with a female driver struck a juvenile female on or near the sidewalk and left the scene. Police said they are seeking the vehicle and driver information for the suspected vehicle.
Charged. Warren City police said Lawrence L. Emery was taken into custody and charged with failure to comply with registration of sexual offenders requirements at 2:38 p.m. March 12 after he failed to change his address, which is required with Megan's law registration. He also failed to respond to his yearly registration with the Pennsylvania State Police.
Brokenstraw Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that two known males entered the residence of Kacie Troyer, Youngsville, between 8 p.m. March 14 and noon on March 15 and stole frozen meals valuing a total of $15.
Conewango Twp.
Harassment. Conewango Township police reported that on March 11 at 5:50 p.m., police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance on Weiler Road. Upon arrival, police spoke with a male who reported that Samantha Lindstrom, Corry, struck him on the head and back during a verbal argument. Police have charged Lindstrom with a non-traffic citation for harassment. Charges have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer.
Eldred Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based State Police are investigating a burglary that happened sometime between March 12 and March 15 at the home of Richard Hunt and Aaron Hunt on Sanford Road. Police reported that a TechOnyx Home Stereo Speaker was stolen. Anyone who has information is encouraged to contact the State Police or the Warren County CrimeStoppers.
Mead Twp.
Crash. Warren-based State Police responded to a crash on Route 6 at its intersection with Keenan Street on March 14 at 5:05 p.m. A 2007 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Caitlin McKinney, Frewsburg, NY, was traveling westbound behind a 2999 Buick Century driven by Heidi Mineweaser, Warren. Mineweaser was slowing in the westbound lane because of traffic and McKinney struck Mineweaser from behind.. McKinney was cited for careless driving.
Pine Grove Twp.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based State Police reported that a 1990 Lincoln Mark VII belonging to Jack Passinger, Russell, was scratched and a parking light was damaged between March 13 at 3 p.m. and March 14 at 98 p.m. while the vehicle was parked at his residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police or the Warren County CrimeStoppers.
Pittsfield Twp.
Crash. Warren-based State Police responded to a crash on Route 27 west of Cemetery Street on March 14 at 7:50 p.m. A 2000 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Hilary Scott, Pittsfield, was traveling east on Route 27 while a 2004 Chevrolet Blazer, driven by Wendy Sutter, Trafford, Pa, was traveling west. Scott attempted to make a left turn into a parking lot and pulled into Sutter's path. Both units suffered moderate damage. Scott was cited for turning movements and required signals. Garland VFD assisted at the scene.
Sheffield Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based State Police reported that they are investigating new information regarding a burglary at the Sheffield Pharmacy that occurred in August 2007, as well as other crimes that occurred in Sheffield in 2007. Police reported that the case remains open pending further investigation.
Southwest Twp.
Harassment.Warren-based State Police responded to a domestic dispute in Southwest Township on March 14 at 4:30 p.m. A known 28 year old female from Erie and a known 64 year old female from Titusville were involved in a domestic dispute, subjecting each other to physical contact. Both were cited for harassment with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.
