Robert and Catherine (Reed) Armstrong of Youngsville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on November 26, 2011. They were married at the EUB Church in Youngsville by the Rev. Harold Lindquist on November 26, 1951. They are the parents of five children: Peggy and her husband, Charles, Dimmick of Danville, Pa; John and his wife, Sheryl, of Torpedo; David and his wife, Janice, of Warren; Richard and his wife, Phyllis, of Pittsfield; and Michael who died in 1996. They are grandparents of 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, along with several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Family photos were taken at the Armstrong home, and a family dinner was celebrated at McCulla's Pub in Warren.
