Possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance. Warren City police said they filed charges against Crystal R. Yeskey of Tidioute on Wednesday for an incident occurring at approximately 11:14 p.m. on Sept. 30, 2011. According to police, officers were dispatched to an East Street apartment to assist Adult Probation officers in an incident where suspected illegal narcotics and paraphernalia were observed. Police said the Pennsylvania State Police Lab found evidence from the scene tested positive for a Schedule I controlled substance.
Brokenstraw Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported investigating an incident of theft which occurred along the side of Lauger Road, Youngsville. According to police, someone took approximately 50 pump jack weights belonging to Lindell and is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Pittsfield Twp.
Hit and run. Warren-based state police reported a female driver with a female passenger was traveling south on Kane Road at 5:10 a.m. Feb. 29. According to police, the driver lost control while negotiating a right curve in the road and the vehicle spun clockwise and went off the right side of the road. Police said the vehicle struck a road sign and then a fence. Police said the driver got out and retrieved car parts from the scene and fled towards Garland. According to police, the vehicle is described as a smaller car, light in color, with damage to the front and driver's side front from hitting or scraping with traffic sign and plastic fencing.
