Criminal mischief. Jeremy Wyman, 32, Warren, reported to Warren-based state police that while he was driving east on National Forge Road at 11:29 a.m. Saturday someone threw snowballs at his vehicle. Police said Wyman's windshield was damaged. Police said an investigation is continuing.
Conewango Twp.
Accident. Conewango Township police responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident on Beech Street at 4:56 p.m. Friday. According to police, Joshua Farnsworth, 20 Allegheny Dr., Warren, was traveling on Liberty Street Ext. and when he turned onto Beech Street he was traveling too fast and lost control of his vehicle. Police said his vehicle then struck an embankment, which caused his vehicle to overturn. Farnsworth and his passenger, Mackenzie Franklin, were transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of injuries. Police said Farnsworth was charged with drive at safe speed and tire equipment and traction surfaces.
Glade Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Scandia Road, approximately a tenth of a mile north of Cobham Park Road at 2:45 a.m. Feb. 23. According to police, Aijian Gao, 29, Warren, was southbound on Scandia Road in his 2006 Ford E350 and was negotiating a left-hand curve when his vehicle began to slide counterclockwise. His vehicle slid onto the northbound berm, crossed back into the southbound lane and struck a guardrail, traveling along it before coming to rest facing west. Police said Gao was wearing his seatbelt and denied having any injuries. He was charged with driving vehicle at safe speed.
Mead Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Route 59 near Kinzua Road at 11:35 p.m. Feb. 23. According to police, Daniel Thiel, 20, Bradford, was driving his 1997 Ford Ranger west on Route 59 when he lost control of his vehicle, which went off the north side of the road, struck a guard rail and then sheared off a telephone pole. The vehicle then traveled 60 feet over an embankment and hit a tree. Thiel sustained a minor injury, according to police, and his passenger, Cassie Labbe, 21, Russell, was not injured. Police said Thiel was chanrged with driving at safe speed and driving on roadways laned for traffic.
Pine Grove Twp.
Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Akeley Road at 6:44 a.m. Saturday. According to police, Amanda Main, 29, Frewsburg, N.Y., was southbound when her vehicle lost traction and spun in a counterclockwise direction. Her 1998 Pontiac left the roadway and traveled approximately 50 feet before striking a tree. Police said her vehicle sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene. Main sustained moderate injury and was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment by Russell EMS. Police said Main was charged with driving vehicle at safe speed.
Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident at 6:10 p.m. Saturday on Route 62, just north of Shady Ridge Road. According to police, Dianna Davison, 55, Jamestown, N.Y., was northbound on Route 62 when she lost control of her 2003 Chevrolet Tracker on the slippery roadway. Her vehicle slid clockwise off the northbound berm and the driver's side hit the embankment, went up the embankment and a tree. The vehicle then slid down the embankment. Police said Davison and her passenger, Troy Davison, 23, Jamestown, were wearing seatbelts and were not injured. Police said Dianna Davison was charged with driving vehicle at safe speed.
Pleasant Twp.
Arrested. Warren-based state police said Christopher Jordan, 22, Clarendon, was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Route 6 and the Mohawk Avenue intersection at 12:49 a.m. Sunday. Charges were filed at District Justice Glenn Carlson's office.
Southwest Twp.
Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident at 1:05 p.m. Feb. 22 on OngleyRoad. According to police, Stacey Thompson, 18, Titusville, was westbound on Ongley Road when she lost control of her 1998 Plymouth Breeze and slid counterclockwise. Police said Thompson countersteered and slid in the other direction, then struck an embankment. Her vehicle rolled over and came to rest upside down. Police said Thompson was wearing a seatbelt and dnied having any injuries. Police said charges are pending.
