LINESVILLE - Eisenhower's girls basketball team finished 5-16 overall after a 58-22 loss at playoff-bound Linesville on Friday.
"The girls played hard," said Eisenhower coach Mike Logue. "They were pretty upbeat about (their prospects for next year)."
The Lady Knights do not have a senior, so all potentially return, but they got a taste on Friday of a playoff-type team they aspire to be.
Linesville finishes the regular season at 16-6 overall and 9-3 in Region 3. Eisenhower finishes 2-10 in region.
Linesville's Challen Litwiler, who averages 15 points per game, was held to seven (two field goals) by Halie VanOrd on defense.
