A month of the wrestling post-season begins on Friday with the District 10 Class AAA Championships at Central Tech High School, and the Section 1-AA Tournament at Union City High School.
Last year Eisenhower advanced six wrestlers from one of three section tournaments in D-10, and Youngsville advanced three to the next weekend's District 10 Class AA tourney at Sharon High School.
The only returning section champion among the six Knights and three Eagles is Eisenhower senior Dylan Baker.

Eisenhower senior Dylan Baker is a returning Section 1-AA champion. He is among four returning district qualifiers for Eisenhower and Youngsville. This weekend’s District 10 Section 1-AA Tournament at Union City begins at 5:30 p.m. Friday, and resumes at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The finals and consolation finals are set for 6 p.m. Saturday.
But the name of the game is advancing to districts, then advancing to regionals, then advancing to states.
Returning district qualifiers include Baker and junior Jake Johnson from Eisenhower, and junior Hunter Proctor and Josh Lewis from Youngsville. Lewis advanced to regionals last year as a junior.
Eisenhower's Jeb Fedorchuk is the top seed at 120 pounds, Baker fourth at 126, Trevor Spicer second at 182, Johnson fourth at 195, and Kenny Peters fourth at heavyweight.
