Warren Area High School graduate and Pitt-Bradford freshman men's basketball player Tyler Fantaskey scored three points for the Panthers in a 65-63 victory over La Roche on Saturday. Fantaskey and the Panthers (10-12) are back in action Wednesday when they visit Hilbert College.

Warren Area High School graduate and Pitt-Bradford senior women's basketball player Hollie Rapp scored 11 points and added 10 rebounds for the Lady Panthers in a 77-51 loss to La Roche on Saturday. Rapp and the Lady Panthers (9-14) return to action Wednesday, visiting Hilbert College.

Warren Area High School graduate and Penn State Behrend women's track & field team member Katie Spade competed for the Lady Lions at the Robert J. Kane Invitational held Saturday at Cornell University. Spade and teammates claimed a fifth-place finish in the 4 X 800 relay with an overall time of 10:04.35. Later, Spade finished ninth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:26.24.

Jr. high mat

The Beaty junior high wrestling team competed at the Meadville Junior High Wrestling Tournament on Saturday. Blake Ristau was first in the 90-pound weight class while Stephen Crone was second at 210 pounds. 105-pounder Nick DeSimone finished third and Jacob Fankhouser (75 pounds) and Jake Engstrom (85 pounds) were fourth.
