GIRLS HOOPS: Lady Bulldogs lose to Erie First

February 11, 2012
The Times Observer

A two-point first quarter was enough to doom the TCCS girls early in a 34-22 setback at home on Friday night against Erie First Christian Academy.

"We were getting shots we were looking for, but didn't make many of them at all," said TCCS coach Ted Nuttall. "We just didn't have it tonight. We played a decent game, but couldn't push past and go for the win."

Loralee Lindemuth led TCCS in scoring with nine points.

The Lady Bulldogs will wrap up their season against a very strong Conneaut Valley team on Wednesday night. Knowing that they were undefeated in the last standings he had seen, Nuttall said the game will "be a learning experience for the girls who will be here next year."
