DUKE CENTER - Shining brightly.
Colin Shine did just that during Eisenhower's 66-34 victory over Otto-Eldred Wednesday at Otto-Eldred High School. Shine finished the game with a season-high 24 points, helping the Knights improve to 12-7 on the season.
After a shaky first quarter ended with the visitors up by just two points, the Knights established their dominance in the second quarter. In that stanza, Eisenhower held a 17-4 advantage, taking a 29-14 edge into halftime.
Eisenhower continued to pull away after the break, allowing Ike coach Dave Allenson to get his entire roster some valuable playing time.
Allenson was able to get a total of 11 players on the court during Wednesday's win over the Terrors. Of those 11 players, nine found their way into the scoring column.
In addition to Shine, the Knights got nine points from Joe Rutsky and eight points each from Aaron Lundmark and Andrew Onoratti.
