DUI/possession. Warren-based state police reported that at 10:13 p.m. Monday they made a routine traffic stop on the Glade Bridge. Deanna L. Yuchnitz, Warren, was stopped for erratic driving, and was found to be impaired. Police found Yuchnitz to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Yuchnitz was transported the state police barracks where a drug recognition expert conducted a drug evaluation and determined that she was under the combined influence of both marijuana and central nervous system depressants. Charges of DUI of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and other summary traffic violations are being filed at District Justice Laura Bauer's office.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday someone made entry into the residence of Richard Young, 66, Spartansburg, at 60 Cobb Rd., Spring Creek, through an unsecure window. While inside, the intruder stole various pieces of jewelry valued at approximately $1,050,. Police said an investigation is continuing.
