Youth soccer
The Warren-2 girls indoor soccer club lost a pair of games recently in Lakewood Family YMCA Indoor Soccer League play. Against Randolph, Warren was defeated, 8-3. Kaitlin Ishman scored two goals and Lindsay Onuffer scored once. Morgan Danielson and Kaela Henry shared the goalkeeping duties.
In a 9-4 loss to Chautauqua Lake, Ishman scored two goals and Danielson and Emmy Beuger scored one goal each. Hannah Raible and Onuffer split time in goal.
Freshmen hoops
The Warren Dragons freshmen boys basketball team dropped a 56-43 decision to Strong Vincent Wednesday in Erie. The Dragons trailed 16-0 midway through the first quarter before cutting the deficit to 23-18 at halftime.
Scott Vasilisin led the Dragons with 18 points and Ryan Shattuck added another 12 points. Warren (7-6) returns home to play this same Strong Vincent team at 11 a.m. Saturday.
