Sheffield's girls basketball team dug itself a whole it couldn't get out of, losing 52-38 to visiting Brockway on Wednesday at Sheffield High School.
Jen Isenberg scored 11 of her team-high 14 points for Sheffield, and teammate Ashley Davidson added seven points, but it was too late to overcome a 10-point halftime deficit.
Sheffield is 2-16 overall, and Brockway 7-8.
