The Beaty White junior high boys basketball teams went 1-1 during a pair of games played Wednesday and Thursday. In Wednesday's 47-18 victory over Franklin, Noah Becker led the winners with 13 points, Jason Waterfield scored 11, Tristan Davis eight, Tyler Gillotti five points, Dominic Funari and Seth Baldensperger four each and Derick Nowacki two points.
In a 45-24 loss to Meadville on Thursday, Becker scored 15 points, Funari five, Davis three and Braiden Blair one point.

Warren Area High School graduate and Pitt-Bradford senior women's basketball player Hollie Rapp scored six points for the Lady Panthers in a 69-53 loss to Mount Aloysius on Saturday. Rapp and the Lady Panthers (8-12) return to action on Saturday, hosting Penn State Altoona.

Warren Area High School graduate and Penn State Behrend women's swim team member Julie Cook competed for the Lady Lions in a 108-58 victory over Pitt-Bradford on Friday. Cook and teammates started the meet by winning the 400 medley relay in a time of 4:29.27. Cook later added an individual victory in the 200 breast with a time of 2:42.29.
Warren Area High School graduate and Penn State Behrend women's swim team member Sarah Jelinek also competed for the Lions, finishing the 200 free in a time of 2:35.24.

Youngsville High School graduate and California University of Pennsylvania men's track & field team member Abel Robinault competed for the Vulcans at the SPIRE Midwest Open hosted by Lake Erie College this past weekend in Geneva, Ohio.
Robinault and teammates earned a sixth-place finish in the distance medley relay, finishing in a time of 10:15.99 - the third best time posted in league competition this season. Robinault and the Vulcans return to action Saturday at the Team Challenge also hosted by Lake Erie.

Warren Area High School graduate and California University of Pennsylvania women's swim team member Kelsey Nuhfer competed for the Vulcans at the Dual Meet Challenge Invitational held this past weekend. Nuhfer and teammates set a new pool record in the 200 free relay, finishing with a time of 1:37.49. Later, Nuhfer and teammates set a new pool record in the 400 free relay, finishing in 3:33.43. Nuhfer and the Vulcans return to the pool Saturday against Carnegie Mellon, Clarion, Grove City and host Pittsburgh.
Youth mat
Eisenhower youth wrestlers Jacob Williams and Tyler Mahood competed and placed at the Union City Ring of Fire Youth Tournament this past weekend. Williams was third in the 7-8 year-old, 55-pound weight class and Mahood was third in the 11-12 year-old, 70-pound weight class.
D-10 rankings
Two Eisenhower Knights and two Youngsville Eagles were included in Dan Albaugh's latest District 10 Class AA wrestling rankings released on Sunday. Ike 195-pounder Jake Johnson is ranked fourth and teammate Trevor Spicer is ranked sixth at 182 pounds.
Youngsville's Aaron Hoover and Jaykup Durlin are ranked sixth at 113 and 220 pounds respectively.
